git on local network

hello, I installed git on my ubuntu server with address 192.168.20.2 adn name gitserver.net on the other pc on local network, pc(192.168.20.3) I can not connect to git server with gitserver.net. Do I need to install DNS or do some configuration on router 192.168.20.1 to be able to connect to gitserver.net from every pc on local network ? Thk, Patrick
